NUMBER MATCHING
Things you will need:
Cardboard box
Alternatives:
-
Cereal box
-
Paper on a tabletop
Toy cars
Alternatives:
-
Figurines
-
Trains
Pen, Scissors, Ruler
Cut out the front panel of the cardboard box.
Draw 10 parking spaces.
Write numbers 1-10 in the parking spaces.
Write the same numbers on sticky labels and stick them to the tops of the cars.
Ask your child to drive the cars to the correct spaces, by matching the numbers.
Variations and ways to extend:

Randomise the numbers.

Make a higher number of spaces.

Make fewer spaces.
-
Use some favourite toys instead of cars.
